Coney Island Autism Angels Inc, was founded by Anthony and Veronica Droz, parents of a child with Autism. When they were first told that their daughter was Autistic they came to the realization that there wasn’t much awareness about the Autism spectrum within their community. It became clear to them a lot of people did not understand what having an Autistic child meant. They decided to stay strong and take action on behalf of their daughter and those who needed to have their voices heard. Thanks to their enthusiasm, and  love for their daughter, they set out to conquered all obstacles and difficulties that they were met with. Anthony and Veronica believe that the more awareness and education that the world is given will equal more acceptance for their daughter and those like her.  The journey for the Droz family began with the birth of their daughter. However, their campaign to raise awareness, gain acceptance and to help the children in their community, has just begun.
